Having studied graphics at Chester School of Art I’ve been a member of M.A.F.A. since 1974. As well as the U.K. I’ve exhibited for many years in the U.S.- New Orleans,Atlanta,Washington and the Louisiana Water Colour Society, and also in Ibiza, and France, and now show exclusively at the Lemonnier Gallery in Le Havre and Beaulieu Fine Art Gallery in Hampshire. Consequentially my work is in collections throughout the world including, among others, the Granada Foundation, Hanover Publications, Salford Art Gallery and Stockport Art Gallery. My choice of subject matter runs in ‘cycles’ depending on where and what inspires me ,for several years purely marine subjects in gouache, at one time solely Venice and the Carnival, and recently devoted to oils of the coastline and beaches of Calvados. Now back in Hampshire it’s a return to portraiture plus a discovery of this region’s unique coast.
