Biography

Peter is a North West based prize-winning professional artist, currently creating urban realist and contemporary figurative paintings.

His work has been selected for exhibitions throughout the UK. He has been shortlisted twice by Artists & Illustrators, the UK’s leading art magazine, for ‘Artist of the Year’ and, in 2018, had a solo show at Warrington Museum & Art Gallery. In 2020, he was selected for the John Moores Painting Prize, the equivalent of receiving an Oscar nomination in the art world.

As well as being a member of MAFA, Peter also belongs to the Contemporary British Portrait Painters (CBPP) and Castlefield Gallery Associates.
