Anthony Ratcliffe: Print International

MAFA artist Anthony Ratcliffe will be showing a woodcut print in the biennial ‘Print International’ at the Ty Pawb Arts Centre in Wrexham from Saturday 4 December. This exhibition has 139 selected prints from a worldwide submission and is on display until 26 February 2022.

Ty Pawb is a contemporary cutting edge exhibition and performance space converted from a covered market in Wrexham. This beautifully designed building was created by Featherstone Young and opened in 2018. Tŷ Pawb is one of the three buildings in Wales to receive the RSAW Welsh Architecture Award 2021, part of the national Royal Society of British Architects (RIBA) Awards. It has a host of beautiful galleries and is well worth a visit. The galleries are open 10am – 4pm, plan your visit by visiting the Ty Pawb website.

Alongside this exhibition he will be one of 20 artists representing printmakers who have contributed to the Wrexham Regional Print Centre in the past. The exhibition marks the twentieth birthday of this institution where Anthony has run woodcut printing workshops funded by the Welsh Arts Council.
