Details: Inspired by the memory of the artists father, taken by the invading force aged 13 and drafted into the cadets. The paintings based on photographs of prewar Poland and its invasion photographed by Poles and Wehrmacht soldiers and preserved in albums owned by the artist.

Grisaille paintings using complimentary colours, no black.
