Biography
Angela Herd Hall is a self-taught painter and works in her studio in her garden. She prefers the peace and quiet of her own space.
Angela’s work is mainly figurative, and about every day situations. She tries to portray a relationship between the figures and works in oil, acrylic and mixed media.
Statement
‘Drawing is the basis of my work and I am, perhaps, old-fashioned in my belief of the importance of it. I try and draw every day. I am lucky enough to be able to work from life and costume models every week, and most of my work is alla prima.’
