Application for associate membership is a two stage process. Applicants must apply online by 21st March 2022 and then submit their artwork for Election Day on Saturday 2nd April 2022 at Gallery Oldham.
The membership application fee is £30 (non-refundable) and must be paid either by credit/debit card online via the MAFA Shop. Alternatively the application fee can be paid by bank transfer to: account No. 41731540 sort code 23-05-80 – please put your name in the reference box.
In addition to their proficiency as an artist applicants should identify any other skills or attributes they have that they think will benefit the ongoing promotion and administration of MAFA.
Applicants are applying for Associate Membership. Artists must be an associate member for 3 years and have contributed to exhibition/organisation before being considered for full membership.
Jpeg images of each artwork (paintings/sculptures or prints) you propose to submit must be added to your online application. Applicants must submit not less than four and not more than six well-presented examples of their current work.

All work submitted must be collected on the same day between 3.30pm and 4.30pm at the end of the selection process.

If you are elected as an associate member you will be asked for your first annual subscription, which is currently £75 p.a., to be paid on 1st November and to set up a Standing Order for subsequent years.
The decision of the MAFA Election Committee is final. MAFA will not enter into any correspondence in relation to non-election.
