MAFA holds exhibitions regularly throughout the North-West and Yorkshire. Our exhibitions are hosted by our family of galleries and museums across these regions; recent shows have been presented at Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery, Dean Clough, Gallery Oldham and The Whitaker.

Our exhibitions present work by practising, professional artists and creators of artwork who are elected by their peers. MAFA aims to present interesting and thought provoking shows. Our exhibition themes are developed in collaboration with each venue to create meaningful experiences for visitors by focusing on a particular media and subjects.

MAFA MEMBERS EXHIBITION 2025 The Academy presents a second exhibition at the Cathedral following on from 'The Meditation of Drawing'. We are all voyagers in this changing world, expanding our knowledge, developing an appreciation of cultures, and shaping our understanding of the world and our place within it.  We each have our own perspectives, with the artists in 'Voyages' reflecting on their own relationship with the idea of the journey, its rewards, pleasures, and perils.
